I recently invited residents of Kenmore, Kenmore Hills and Chapel Hill to complete a community survey, so I can better represent you in federal Parliament.
We’ve all seen the consequences of short-term decision-making, and the corrupting influence of corporate lobbyists and donations. The Greens and I believe that politics should serve the people, so we’re trying to do politics differently, working with the people we serve.
Please join me at The Kenmore on Wednesday 4 September to hear the results of the survey, and help shape a vision for the future for Kenmore and Chapel Hill that we can work towards together. I’ve invited Andrew Kidd, Greens candidate for Moggill, and a panel of young leaders from the area to join us, along with representatives of the organisations that serve this wonderful community.
As well as a presentation of the results of the survey, as a group we'll discuss some of the key issues emerging from the survey and work together on finding the modest improvements that could be transformative.
I look forward to shaping a vision for the future of Kenmore and Chapel Hill with you.
