I’ve heard so much from chatting with locals in The Gap about the need for more community spaces.
The Gap is home to almost 20,000 residents but lacks key community infrastructure like a library. Locals in The Gap have done incredible work advocating for a public library and community centre.
Join me and Greens candidate for Cooper, Katinka Winston-Allom at this community forum to discuss why a library and community hub is needed, what facilities it could have, and how we could win it.
My weekly free Community Meal will also be held outside the school hall from 5 pm this week, to allow those attending to grab a quick bite to eat.
We hope to see you there.
