Pressure works. As a result of the Greens campaigning, we have secured $2 billion in immediate funding for public housing, more than four times the annual funding originally proposed under Labor’s housing plan.
We must keep fighting if we want direct and ongoing funding every year for public housing and a freeze and cap on rent increases.
